St. Joseph’s National School is a Catholic, co-ed Primary school, situated in the village of Milltownpass, Co. Westmeath.
The aim of St. Joseph’s National School is to provide a caring, learning environment which facilitates the nurturing of each pupil’s full educational potential. The achievement of this aim informs all of the planning process and activities which occur in our school. Teachers and parents are partners in the children’s education, with co-operation and communication between home and school being vital ingredients in the educational process.
We share the same aim, the well-being of the children in our care.
We are a co-educational school with 3 mainstream teachers, 2 full time Special Education Teachers(SET), and 2 ASD classes, Junior Reach Class and Senior Reach class, with 2 teachers and 5 SNAs.
We also have a part time SNA in our mainstream classes.
